Williston North Dakota Wants Your Clicks: Help Shape the City’s New Website
If you’ve ever found yourself clicking around our city's website thinking, “There has to be an easier way to find this,” you’re not alone, and the City of Williston wants to hear from you.
The City of Williston is officially revamping its website, and instead of guessing what residents want, they’re doing the smart thing: asking. A quick public survey is now open, giving you the chance to help shape what the new and improved city website will look like and how it will work.

The survey asks how you usually surf the internet. Are you a desktop devotee, a laptop loyalist, or someone who does everything on their phone while waiting in line somewhere? That kind of feedback matters more than you might think, because it helps the city design a site that works well on the devices people actually use.
You’ll also be asked what information you feel is most important to have front and center on the website. Maybe it’s utility information, city meeting details, permits, events, or emergency updates. Everyone uses the city website a little differently, and this is your chance to say, “Hey, this is what I really need.”
Another part of the survey asks you to rank how important certain features are to you. In other words, what actually matters and what could be less of a priority. It’s all about making the site more useful, easier to navigate, and less of a digital scavenger hunt.

Your Time And Input Matter
If you’d like to take part, you can find the survey here. Just make sure you fill it out by January 15. A few minutes of your time now could mean a smoother, more user-friendly city website for years to come.
So take the survey, share your thoughts, and do your part, because a better website benefits all of us in Williston.
