Williston Drivers, Don’t Get Caught by Surprise Monday Morning
If the 11th Street West and 32nd Avenue West roundabout in Williston is part of your morning routine, you may want to give yourself a little extra time next week.

Beginning Monday, August 24, at 5:30 a.m., westbound traffic exiting through the roundabout will be closed while crews work on a concrete repair project.
So, if you're headed west through that roundabout, you'll need to make a different plan.

The Roundabout Will Still Be Open
The good news is that the roundabout itself isn't completely closed.
Traffic from all directions will still be able to enter the roundabout. However, drivers will only be able to exit heading north, south, or east.
That means if your normal commute has you heading west from the roundabout, now is the time to think about an alternate route.
And let's be honest, nobody wants to discover a road closure when they're already running five minutes late for work.
Taking a few extra minutes to plan your route before Monday morning could save you some frustration.

Closure Expected to Last Through Friday
The westbound exit closure is expected to remain in place until approximately 5:30 a.m. Friday, August 28, weather permitting.
As with any construction project, the schedule could change depending on weather and conditions, so drivers should continue to pay attention to signs and any updates as the work progresses.
For those who use the area regularly, this is one of those projects that's probably worth putting on your mental calendar now.
Maybe Monday morning isn't the best time to discover that your usual route isn't quite so usual anymore.

A Little Planning Goes a Long Way
Road repairs aren't always convenient, but keeping traffic moving safely while crews get the work done is important.
So, if you're heading through the 11th Street West and 32nd Avenue West roundabout next week, remember that westbound exits will be closed.
Give yourself some extra time, watch for other drivers who may also be adjusting their routes, and consider taking an alternative route if you're trying to head west.
The closure is expected to be temporary, with the area scheduled to reopen Friday morning, weather permitting.
