Another week is in the books for local law enforcement, and from the looks of it, the Williston Police Department has been keeping busy. Between October 5 and October 11, officers were called to action throughout the city, handling a wide range of incidents that kept patrols moving and dispatch lines buzzing.

Williston Police Log: 665 Calls, 45 Arrests, and 110 Traffic Stops Mark a Busy Week

According to weekly data released by the department, there were 665 calls for service during that seven-day span. Those calls resulted in 45 arrests, including 9 felony arrests, 33 misdemeanors, and 3 infractions. From traffic violations to more serious offenses, officers were on the streets ensuring public safety and responding quickly when needed.

Traffic enforcement also made up a large portion of the department’s activity. Officers conducted 110 traffic stops, leading to 71 citations and 13 written warnings. These numbers reflect ongoing efforts to keep Williston’s roads safe by cracking down on speeding, distracted driving, and other dangerous behaviors behind the wheel.

In addition to traffic stops, police responded to 17 traffic accidents, assisting motorists and helping clear roadways to keep traffic moving smoothly. Reports show that 89 official reports were taken during the week, covering everything from theft and vandalism to domestic incidents and suspicious activity.
