Williston North Dakota Comes Together For The Mike Brunelle Benefit
A benefit dinner and auction will take place on September 26, 2024, at the UMV Fairgrounds in Williston, ND, to support Mike Brunelle, who was seriously injured in a farm accident earlier this year.
On May 25, 2024, Mike sustained multiple head and neck injuries in the accident and was airlifted to Bismarck, where he spent seven days receiving treatment. Unfortunately, after returning home, Mike’s condition worsened, requiring another trip to the emergency room, where he was again flown to Bismarck for an additional two days of hospitalization. Now that Mike is back at home, he continues to heal but is preparing for further medical treatment.
To assist Mike with his mounting medical bills, the community is rallying together for this event. The evening will begin with a free-will donation dinner starting at 5 p.m., where attendees can enjoy a meal while showing their support. At 7 p.m., Stevens Auctioneer Services will lead a live auction featuring various items donated by generous community members. In addition to the live auction, there will be a silent auction, a cash bar, and games to keep everyone entertained throughout the evening.
All proceeds raised will go directly to cover Mike’s medical expenses, both current and future. If you’d like to donate an item for the auction, please get in touch with 701-770-0884 or 701-770-1561.
This benefit is a wonderful chance to show solidarity and make a difference in the life of someone in our community who truly needs it. With locally raised meat, lots of homemade cooking, and plenty of deserts, plan now to make an evening out of it!
