From Welding to Aviation: Williston, North Dakota Showcases Career Pathways

Learning, Games, and Career Pathways: A CTE Showcase for All Ages
In addition to learning about specific programs, attendees can discover how CTE courses connect classroom learning to real-world skills. The showcase also highlights North Dakota Choice Ready, an initiative that ensures students graduate with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to succeed after high school.
The event is designed to be welcoming and engaging for all ages. Families can expect hands-on activities, games, free food, and door prizes, making it an easy and enjoyable way to spend an evening while learning about future opportunities.
For students, the showcase can help spark interest in career paths they may not have previously considered. For parents and guardians, it offers insight into how CTE programs support career readiness, technical skill development, and academic growth.
Organizers say the goal is simple: to help the community better understand the value of CTE and the many options available right here in the Williston Basin. Whether someone is planning for life after high school or just wants to learn more, the Williston Basin CTE Showcase offers something for everyone.
