New Weight Limits For Gravel Roads Implemented In Williams County

Effective 11:45 am (CT) on July 15, 2025, all Williams County and township gravel and chip seal roads located in Zones 2, 3, 5, and 6 are restricted to a 20,000 lbs gross vehicle weight (GVW) limit due to recent rainfall. This restriction will remain in effect until further notice.

This notice includes an update to Zone 5 which previously had a 6-ton axle weight limit from earlier this morning.

Any previous permits approved are now VOID. Roads will continue to be re-evaluated throughout the day.
