Two North Dakota Pizza Gems Make the Top 100!
When it comes to pizza, everyone has a favorite. Whether you're a die-hard fan of deep dish, a lover of thin crust, or someone who enjoys an unconventional topping like pineapple (controversial, we know!), pizza preferences are a personal affair.
The list of the top 100 pizza places in the Midwest was just recently made public by Yelp, and to the surprise of a great number of people living in North Dakota, two of the state's pizza restaurants made it onto the list! Now that we have the pizza cut, let's look at who is on the list in order.
Fargo's Blackbird Woodfire sizzled its way to the 84th spot with its wood-fired pizzas that boast a crispy, flavorful crust and creative toppings. Known for blending unique ingredients, Blackbird Woodfire has built a reputation as the go-to spot for pizza lovers in Fargo who crave something a little out of the ordinary.
Just one spot down the list, at number 85, is Fireflour Pizza + Coffee Bar in Bismarck. Fireflour is all about that Neapolitan-style pizza, serving up wood-fired creations that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Plus, if you're in the mood for a caffeine kick with your pizza, their combination of pizza and coffee is a match made in foodie heaven!
But don’t worry, Williston, just because we didn’t land on the list doesn’t mean that our pizza game isn’t strong! North Dakota is clearly on the pizza map, so if you’re ever up for a little road trip, you know where to go for a slice of the Midwest’s finest. From Fargo to Bismarck, the pizza scene in North Dakota is on fire (literally). Now, who's hungry?
