On Thursday evening, there was a collision that involved a golf cart, which resulted in two people sustaining serious injuries. In the region of the crossroads where 65th Street and 2nd Avenue East are located in Williston, shortly after 8 o'clock in the evening, a man who was 37 years old was driving the cart, as reported by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The release indicated that the driver attempted a left turn at an excessive speed, which resulted in two men from Williston, one aged 44 and the other aged 41, being ejected from the vehicle.

The man, who is 44 years old, sustained severe injuries that posed a risk to his life, and he was consequently transported by helicopter to Trinity Health in Minot.

The 41-year-old patient, who also sustained significant injuries, was sent to the CHI St. Alexis in Williston for medical treatment after being brought there. The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of criminal vehicular injury as well as driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI). The crash remains under investigation.
