TrainND Foundation Announces $16,000 In Scholarships For Local High School Students Pursuing CNA Education
The TrainND Foundation is delighted to share the exciting news of the approval of funding for 16 scholarships, each valued at $1,000, dedicated to supporting high school and graduating high school students pursuing Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) education. This initiative stands as a beacon of the foundation's commitment to nurturing the growth of aspiring healthcare professionals within the local community.
In collaboration with this philanthropic endeavor, TrainND Northwest is set to host a dynamic summer Fast-Track CNA program. This program offers a unique opportunity for students to expedite their CNA education, providing them with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the demanding healthcare industry. The scholarships are not just financial aid; they represent an investment in the future of healthcare, to foster a generation of compassionate and qualified healthcare professionals.
"These scholarships are an investment in the healers of tomorrow," remarked Dubi Cummings, the Chair of the TrainND Foundation Board. "The impact of these dollars will continue to serve our region for years to come."
The Fast-Track CNA program aligns with the foundation's broader goal of enhancing healthcare services in the region. By investing in the education and development of students, TrainND Foundation aims to empower the next generation of healthcare professionals who will contribute significantly to the overall well-being of the community.
TrainND Foundation firmly believes that by providing financial support and educational opportunities, it can make a lasting impact on the lives of these students and, in turn, strengthen the healthcare landscape in the community. Jennifer Nebeker, TrainND Northwest Office Manager and Technical Program Coordinator expressed gratitude for the support from community partners, stating, "Because of the donations to the TrainND Foundation, we can provide life-changing scholarships to students, ensuring high-quality healthcare for a community that has given so much to TrainND Northwest."
