Burger Battle in Williston, North Dakota: Locals Reveal Their Top Picks
If you want to start a fun debate in Williston, just ask one simple question: “Where can I get a good burger in Williston?”
I tossed that question out on the KEYZ Facebook page, and wow—people showed up with opinions (and cravings).

4 Mile Bar in Williston, North Dakota Clearly Leads the Burger Pack
One place that clearly stood out? 4 Mile Bar. Mandi Miller kicked things off saying they have the best burgers hands down, and plenty of others—Royce Horswill, Mac Sletvold, Stacy Warr, Jeff Clarke, Jen Carns-Heaton, Luci Carns, and Steve Kellel—quickly backed that up. Safe to say, 4 Mile has a loyal following.

Other Local Options Made The List
Other popular picks included Doc Holliday’s Roadhouse (shoutout to CW Howard, Sarah Silvis, and Tim Moore), Courthouse Cafe (Johanna Pierce), and Dabeno’s (Danielle Dukart)..
Fast Food Gets Some Votes Too
Fast food still had its fans, too, with mentions of McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, and Hardee’s.
And of course, a few people kept it simple—John Vaughn, Jason Peles, and John Holloway all claimed the best burger is at home. Hard to argue with that confidence
Bottom line? There’s no single “best” burger in Williston—but there are a lot of great ones. Sounds like the only real solution is to start taste-testing.
