The Third game of the Teton-Pioneers series will tip off at 8:30 pm CST.

The men's teams for the Tetons and Pioneers have already met twice this season, once in Miles City, and the other in Williston.  Both games were saw the Tetons come out on top by two points, and in both occasions they were able to come up with a defensive stand to win the game.

Miles comes into the season with a 5-21 overall record and 4-13 in the Mon-Dak, and is fresh off of a huge upset win over Bottineau.

The Pioneers are scoring 70.2 points per game on the season, while shooting 43.1% from the field and 30.5% from deep.

Blessing Adesipe leads the team in scoring with 20.7 points per game with Denzel Kabasele (14.8 ppg) also averaging double digits.

Williston State comes into the season with a 5-18 record overall in the season and 3-13 in the Mon-Dak Conference.  The Tetons are averaging 64.1 points per game this season while shooting 38.9% from the field and 28.6% from the perimeter.

The Tetons are led in scoring by Shaheed Muhammad with 17.7 points per game, with Abiodun Adedo (14.7 ppg) also scoring in double figures.

Three Things to Watch for:

1. New Look Tetons: Last week's win over the Royals cemented Wilson Rankin as a complete threat on the offensive end as he lead a Muhammad-less Teton team for a huge win on the road.  A Teton team who has seemingly gotten their guard game clicking is a new and dangerous beast in the conference that will be a tough out for any time, especially with Shaheed back.

2.  Big Buckets:  In games where Adedo and Gordon get good looks and are given time and room to be effective, Williston State has played pronominal. Both big men will share time being guarded by Adesipe, and both are skilled enough to put the Pioneers best player in early foul trouble.

3. Eating An Elephant: If this teams finds itself down in a game, especially in the second half, they have often tried to tried to push a little to hard and gotten out of sorts stymieing comeback runs.  As they saw last week, staying patient and going possession by possession work a lot more effectively, eating the elephant one bite at a time.
