It has seemed like eons—yes, actual, dictionary-defined eons—since we first heard the glorious news that Taco Bell was coming to Williston. Fast-forward through what felt like a lifetime of impatient stomach growls, and today, it’s finally official: Taco Bell has broken ground in Williston Square!

Twelve Shovels, One Dream: Taco Bell’s Williston Journey Begins

The honors were performed by twelve individuals, each of whom was armed with a shovel. These individuals included city officials, dignitaries, and developers, and they convened at the location this morning to ceremonially place several shovels in the ground.—AKA the universal sign that stuff is happening. The crowd may have been small, but the excitement was extra-large, much like the Crunchwrap Supremes we’ll soon be devouring.
