Sweet Surprises – Traditional and Unusual Desserts for a North Dakota Thanksgiving

For the past several days, we have discussed topics related to Thanksgiving that are commonplace in North Dakota. In particular, we have focused on the holiday's food and traditions. Although we lean more conventional in our approach to the food that we serve, some of the suggestions that have been made have been very cool. I asked about the topic on the Facebook page that belongs to our station, and the responses did not disappoint me in the least. This morning, we are going to jump off the dessert board! Is there a traditional sweet dish that is served in North Dakota that is associated with the Thanksgiving holiday?
