Williston State College Mourns Loss Of Andrea Carver

Williston State College, present and past students, employees, and the community are mourning the death of WSC Director of Financial Aid Andrea Carver.

Out of respect for Anrea's memory and to honor her colleagues during this trying period, the college has cancelled all upcoming planned Financial Aid Q&A Sessions.

Because the current and incoming students may still have issues about financial aid, the WSC Financial AID team is trying to offer alternate help.

Those in need of immediate financial aid assistance are advised to call the office at 701-774-4200.

Several individuals and groups have already honored Andrea's great impact on the school and the community; the college stated in a Facebook post that Williston High School and Williston Basin Career & Technical Education Center have paid a careful homage to her memory, her dedication, and her friendliness.

Facebook comments have been flooded with touching memories of those who have been positively affected by Andrea both personally and professionally.

We also extend our most sincere condolences to the Carver and Williston State College families.
