Step Up to the Plate! Williston ND Needs Baseball Umpires This Season
Attention baseball and softball fans! If you've ever found yourself yelling at the TV, insisting the umpire got the call wrong, this might just be your big break. Williston High School is on the hunt for umpires for the upcoming baseball and softball seasons, and they need folks who can call balls and strikes with confidence (and maybe a little flair).
The Best Seat in the House: Why Being an Umpire Keeps You in the Game
Let’s face it—being an umpire is one of the best ways to be part of the action without worrying about sliding into home plate or catching a fastball to the ribs. You get front-row seats to every game, a chance to exercise your authority (in the fairest way possible, of course), and the respect of players who may or may not agree with your strike zone.

No Experience? No Problem! Step Up to the Plate as an Umpire
No previous umpiring experience? No problem! If you can tell the difference between a curveball and a pop fly, you're already ahead of the game. Plus, it's a great way to support local sports, stay active, and maybe even work on that signature strikeout call.
So, if you love baseball or softball and want to make a difference on the field (literally), Williston High School wants to hear from you. For more information or to throw your name in the lineup, contact the Williston High School Activities Office.
Don’t sit on the bench this season—step up to the plate and call the shots!
