Sharpen Your Skills and Sing with Confidence at Mic Check in Williston North Dakota
This October, aspiring vocalists in Williston will have the chance to take their singing to the next level. From October 6–10, the Mic Check Workshop will bring together local singer-songwriters and voice instructors for a week filled with training, collaboration, and live performance opportunities.
Designed for singers of all levels, the workshop is structured to help participants tackle challenging notes, expand vocal range, and discover their unique sound—all within a supportive, community-focused environment. Whether you’ve been performing for years or are just starting out, the workshop promises a space where you can grow your skills and confidence.

Rehearsals, Coaching, and Expert Panels Shape the Mic Check Experience
Throughout the week, attendees will take part in group rehearsals, where collaboration and ensemble singing provide both practice and inspiration. Those who register as paying participants will also receive solo performance coaching, giving them valuable one-on-one feedback tailored to their style and goals.
The program also includes a variety of panels and educational sessions covering topics such as vocal technique, performance style, self-accompaniment, and more. These sessions are led by experienced instructors and working musicians who understand both the artistic and practical sides of singing.
