If your golf game lives somewhere between “PGA Tour” and “just happy to make contact,” I have some good news, because this event is for you.

The Opportunity Foundation Inc. is teeing up its first-ever Golf Simulator Skills Challenge, and it’s shaping up to be a full-blown day of laughs, friendly competition, and doing some real good for the community. The action goes down Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at the always-lively The Range Clubhouse & Lounge in Williston.

This isn’t your typical golf tournament. Instead of trudging across frozen fairways, teams will test their skills indoors across three premier simulator challenges: longest drive, closest to the pin, and target practice. Whether you’re a seasoned stick or the “vibes and snacks” member of the team, there’s a little something for everyone.

Teams of four can enter for $400, with a maximum of just 15 teams, so the competition stays fun and fast-paced. And let’s talk prizes! Cash awards will be handed out for 1st, 2nd, 3rd… and LAST place, because sometimes trying your best deserves recognition too. There’s also a costume contest with a cash prize, so feel free to dress like a golf pro, a caddie, or whatever questionable outfit you’ve been waiting to debut.

Something For Everyone

Throughout the day, expect bonus games, extra prizes, and zero concerns about going hungry. Breakfast and lunch are included, plus there’s a Bloody Mary bar, drink specials, dart boards, on-site gaming machines, and a full bar to keep spirits high.

Best of all, every dollar raised supports the Opportunity Foundation’s Activity Fund, helping the people they serve enjoy trips, attend events, and experience summer camps and other meaningful activities that make life brighter.

And once the clubs are set down? Stick around for live music from Josh Kehr, because no great event should end quietly.
