The North Dakota Game and Fish Department Advisory Board will hold a series of public meetings across the state this fall, offering residents a chance to discuss local fish and wildlife issues with agency personnel and district representatives.

The eight-meeting tour begins Oct. 28 and continues through Nov. 24, with one meeting scheduled in each advisory district. All meetings are set to begin at 7 p.m. local time.

The first meeting will take place in District 5 on Oct. 28 at the Community Center in Buffalo, hosted by the Buffalo Wildlife Club. District 2 will meet the following evening, Oct. 29, at the Kenmare Fire Hall.

Additional meetings are scheduled in Turtle Lake (Nov. 3), Devils Lake (Nov. 5), Fordville (Nov. 12), and Watford City (Nov. 17). Locations for Districts 6 and 8—set for Nov. 19 and Nov. 24, respectively—will be announced on the Game and Fish Department’s website at gf.nd.gov.

“These meetings are an important opportunity for people to engage with local wildlife management and share concerns or suggestions,” the department said in a statement.

Meeting hosts include local wildlife clubs and organizations, and attendees will be able to speak directly with advisory board members representing each region.
