Montana Fish Wildlife and parks will be holding a meeting about fisheries in Plentywood's Box Elder Reservoir and other fisheries in northeast Montana

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 18, from 6 to 8 p.m., Montana FWP will be hosting the meeting to provide information about local fisheries in the area.

The meeting will take place in the Jubilee Room of the Sheridan County Library.

In 2024, Jared Krebs, a regional fisheries biologist, will give a presentation that covers pond and small reservoir sampling. This will include the results of Box Elder Reservoir sampling, adjustments in stocking, and management actions that are planned for the future.

This meeting will give local residents a chance to participate in open discussions to ask officials with Montana FWP officials questions about fisheries in Northeast Montana.
