Over the holiday weekend, there were tons of motorcycles out enjoying the sunshine in between rain showers. I get it. Nice weather, the need for speed, and the thrill of the ride are something that can't be beaten. On 2 separate occasions this past weekend, I had to say I can't believe that person has a motorcycle license. They were driving recklessly, and going way too fast. One driver was riding his motorcycle on the walking path (on the cement) where walkers had to move! We all need to do our part to keep everyone safe on our roads. This piece will give motorcyclists helpful tips that will help them stay safe while riding around North Dakota.

You can't say enough about how important it is to wear the right safety gear. In case of an accident, motorcyclists should always wear a helmet that is approved by the Department of Transportation (DOT), protected eyewear, sturdy boots, gloves, and durable clothing.
