Workshopedia did a study, looking at all 50 states. They wanted to determine the most popular home decor item in each state. They used a list of 45 home decor items and analyzed Google search trends. You might be surprised at what they found.

Which decor item is most popular in the entire country? Rugs. Seven states had rugs as their top-searched decor item. And hey, I get it; a rug can really change the whole look of a room.
