Williston's Community Garden is Growing Again

Did you know that Williston has a community garden? It's located behind Jimmy Johns and it opened last summer as a project spearheaded by the Williston Community Builders. It was a success and is back this year, but with a few changes.

A New Season with Olive Motherhood

The Olive Motherhood Foundation of Williston has recently taken over management of the Community Gardens owned by the Williston Community Builders. They've been adding to the space, and plan to have volunteers on the property a minimum of two times a week. There are future plans for a picnic area too.

About Olive Motherhood Foundation

The Olive Motherhood Foundation is a local nonprofit organization. It's a village of moms helping mothers in the Williston area connect and find resources. The name was picked to serve as an olive branch to all members.

Perfect for Gardeners Without a Yard

The Community Gardens is perfect for people who don't have room for a garden at home or for homeschool co-ops. You can plant whatever you want; flowers, veggies, fruits, etc. Small and medium plots are available to rent. Large plots have sold out. The small plots are $25 for the season and the medium plots are $30.  (reserve yours here)
