Gospel In The Park Returns To Williston
Gospel In the Park Returns this Sunday in Williston! This FREE event is put on by Brian Salveson and Jeff Nelson, and will feature some great entertainment again this year! Let me introduce you to some of the performers set to entertain on Sunday at Harmon Park in Williston.
The Peterson Family
This family band is from Wildrose, and they’re headlining this family-friendly event. Performing is in their blood because they’ve been doing it for 20 years now! Passionate about life, they enjoy sharing music with audiences of all ages. Growing up on the prairies of North Dakota, their music has flavors of gospel, bluegrass, jazz, orchestral, folk and fiddle, contemporary, country, and beyond! All the members have other jobs, they view their opportunities to sing as a ministry.
The Lingenfelters
Jim and Cheryl are a husband and wife team that have been performing together for years. They sing original songs and play guitars, an electric keyboard, and Jim even breaks out the harmonica sometimes. They advertise their music as "Faith, Family, and Freedom". They get invitations to a variety of events including the Gideon banquet, Friday night live music at "the Eleven" restaurant, reunions, Relay for Life, farmer's markets, park gatherings, just wherever they get an opportunity to share Jesus with a hurting world. Listen for your gospel favorites with this popular duo!
Brian Salveson
Brian is a Williston native that has been singing for 25 years now. He was the 2006 winner of the Teddy Talent Trek, and with that win, was able to sing on the big stage in Medora! Brian has sung in Laughlin, Jamaica, and has performed on a cruise ship too! He released his very own CD called Untitled five years ago and is looking to release another one down the road. Brian loves old-school country music and has his favorites when it comes to gospel music, which we all know and love. Not only is Brian helping to organize this event, but he is also performing too.
A few others are set to entertain too. Be on the lookout for Lane Sandstrom, Mick Soiseth and RW Evitt. The bounce houses will be up, and Snack Shack will be on hand for those popular snacks that make an outdoor event even better. Bring a lawn chair and get set for Gospel In The Park this Sunday at Harmon Park in Williston. The fun starts at 2:00pm.
