Spread the Love Early: Giving Hearts Day Returns to Western North Dakota This February
February is a special month. It’s packed with Groundhog Day, the Super Bowl, Lincoln’s Birthday, Valentine’s Day, Washington’s Birthday, and Presidents' Day. That’s a lot to squeeze into the shortest month of the year!
Another important day to circle on your calendar is Giving Hearts Day, which is coming up Thursday, February 12. Even better news—early donations are being accepted right now, so you don’t have to wait to make a difference.

Giving Hearts Day Is Almost Here: A Powerful Way to Support North Dakota Causes
Giving Hearts Day is an incredibly impactful 24-hour giving campaign benefiting nearly 550 charities across North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. The goal is simple: encourage people to support causes they care about while helping nonprofits raise awareness, strengthen donor relationships, and secure funding to continue their important work.
Established in 2008, Giving Hearts Day has grown into the longest-running giving day in the nation. Since it started, the event has helped participating organizations raise an astounding $195 million. Each year, many donors experience the joy of giving for the very first time, while longtime supporters return to help causes close to their hearts.
