We might be pretending that spring has arrived, but regardless, this is the perfect time to attend the Western Area Builders Association’s Home & Garden Show! The Raymond Center in Williston will host this must-attend event for home improvement and gardening enthusiasts April 4-5. The organizers have introduced a magical element to the event this year with a whimsically themed competition suitable for gardening enthusiasts!

Introducing the Enchanted Garden Competition! Love gardening? Love miniatures? Then this is your time to shine! Participants can enter the competition to build their miniature enchanted worlds using Enchanted Gardens or Fairy Gardens as their canvas. The extent of your creativity becomes your only boundary when designing fairy tea parties amidst moss or secret gnome hideouts.

The most exciting detail is that participating in the competition costs nothing at all!  You can win awards for both Judge's Choice and People's Choice, so you need to show your best work and impress the audience.

The Rules of Enchantment:

• Your masterpiece should be designed to fit inside a space measuring 24 inches by 26 inches.
• It must include living plants—no plastic imposters!
• The enchanted miniature world needs to showcase imaginary creatures such as fairies, gnomes, elves, or maybe a little Bigfoot.
• The use of natural materials combined with creative design and design complexity earns extra points.
