Williston State College's volleyball team invites local students to take part in a full schedule of camps in coming weeks. These are perfect for people looking to develop their game, refine their skills, and even train alongside college-level athletes and coaches.

The first chance for participants to get on the court is the Spring Skills Camp, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, May 3–4 at The Well on the WSC campus.

Spring Skills Camp Information:

 Saturday, May 3

  • Elementary Camp (Grades 3–5): 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Fee: $30
  • Middle School Camp (Grades 6–8): 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Fee: $40

Sunday, May 4

  • High School Camp (Grades 9–12): 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Fee: $40

 “This spring camp is a great way to kickstart the season and build strong fundamentals,” said Head Coach Nathan Martell. “We love seeing athletes leave camp with more confidence, sharper skills, and a bigger passion for the sport.”

If the May dates don't work for you, another camp will be offered June 23–27. YOu read that correctly. It's a week-long series that are grade-specific and taylored to help athletes build skills, gain experience, and have fun while playing the game they love.

Summer Volleyball Camp Schedule:

Monday, June 23 – 3rd���5th Grade | 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

  • (Includes a kids’ movie during the lunch break)

Tuesday, June 24 & Wednesday, June 25 – 6th–8th Grade

  • Two days of double sessions
  • Morning (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.): Skills and Drills
  • Afternoon (2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.): Scrimmages and game scenarios

Thursday, June 26 & Friday, June 27 – 9th–12th Grade

  • Two days of double sessions
  • Morning (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.): Skills and Drills
  • Afternoon (2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.): Scrimmages and game scenarios

 “These summer camps are where the real growth happens,” said Martell. “We get two full days to dig into the game, have fun, and let athletes compete. Whether you're new to your team or a returning varsity player, there's something here for everyone.”
