Election Day Is November 8th…Here Is What You Need To Know For Williams County
November 8, 2022 is Election Day. Granted, it's the mid-terms. This is still a big election! Why you ask? The midterm elections will change the makeup of Congress, significantly impacting how the incumbent president will be able to govern in the second half of their term. Control of the House and Senate can be decided by just a few seats. In 2022, the Senate is 50 Republicans, 48 Democrats, and 2 Independents who caucus with Democrats, plus Vice President Kamala Harris (also a Democrat) as the deciding vote in case of ties. The House currently has 222 Democrats, 211 Republicans, and 2 vacancies. If you don't like how things are going, VOTE! This is your right to make a choice and possibly some changes.
