Williston North Dakota Is Ready to Run… and Stock Up on Diapers!
If you thought your Saturday plans were set, think again—because tomorrow Williston is hosting a feel-good event that’s equal parts fun run, community spirit, and diaper drive. And yes, we mean actual diapers.
This special day is part of a Leadership Williston project in collaboration with the Olive Motherhood Foundation. If you’re not familiar with Olive, they’re basically the fairy godmothers of the baby world—gifting diapers and wipes to any mom who needs them. And let’s be real, there are more moms who need that help than you might imagine.

The mission for this event is simple: fill Olive’s storage unit to the brim with diapers in all sizes (because babies come in more shapes and sizes than snack chips at the grocery store). Your admission? Bring some diapers and your best running—or walking—shoes.

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., and here’s the kicker: kids run free with adults! That’s right, the little ones can burn off some energy while helping a great cause. Even better? There will be fun prizes for the kids who cross that finish line, so you might want to let them think they “won.”
One last, and very important, detail—wear WHITE. Why? Well, you’ll have to show up to find out, but let’s just say white tends to look extra festive after a fun run.
So tomorrow, swap your coffee run for a diaper run. Your heart (and Olive’s storage unit) will thank you.
