Backpacks Ready? Williston North Dakota’s Open Houses Mark the Start of School Season

As August rolls on, you might notice a little more pep in the steps of parents around town. That’s right—back-to-school season is approaching fast, and with it comes the much-anticipated open houses at Williston District 7. It’s time to dust off those backpacks and stock up on school supplies because the new school year is almost here!

Williston High School is kicking off the festivities with its open house on Wednesday, August 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. It’s the perfect opportunity for students to meet their new teachers and for parents to get a sneak peek at what’s in store for the 2024–2025 school year.

Next up, Williston Middle School’s Central Campus will host its open house on Monday, August 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Students in grades 5 through 8 can explore their new classrooms, meet their teachers, and start mapping out their routes from class to class and mastering the lockers. It’s a big year for these students as they continue their journey through middle school.

Finally, the district’s elementary schools are opening their doors on Tuesday, August 20, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Parents of K-5 students, don’t forget to bring those school supplies! This is a great chance for your little ones to get comfortable with their new surroundings and for you to chat with their teachers.
