Fall Forecast is In: Sweater Weather, Sunshine, and a Splash of Rain

Luckily, we don’t have to guess. The Old Farmer’s Almanac has released its fall outlook, and it’s looking... pretty pleasant! According to the latest forecast, folks in western and central North Dakota can expect a warm and wet autumn. That means cozy hoodies, colorful leaves, and just enough rain to keep the grass from giving up entirely. Eastern North Dakota, on the other hand, is in for a cool and dry season. Think crisp mornings, extra static cling, and the perfect excuse to buy that chunky knit sweater you’ve been eyeing.

Just over the border, eastern and central Montana will also see warm and wet conditions. Great news for those who like their pumpkin patches squishy and their hayrides humid. Meanwhile, western Montana gets the best of both worlds: warm and mild, like fall with the training wheels still on.
