A Trenton man is facing 13 felony counts and a handful of misdemeanors after a wild police chase in Williston early Saturday morning.
According to the Williston Police officer on the scene, 23 year old Logan Rider reportedly pulled up to a patrol car that was observing the closing of the downtown Williston strip clubs at about 1 AM.
After an officer reported spotting open alcohol in the vehicle, Rider is said to have fled police in his car on north Main Street and hit two pedestrians while turning west on 2nd Street. Both pedestrians suffered head injuries as a result.
Rider reportedly reached speeds of 100 miles an hour on 2nd Street West and residential areas before losing a tire in front of the Bobcat dealership on Front Street along the West Dakota Bypass.
Rider is charged with 7 counts of reckless endangerment, 2 counts of assault while fleeing, fleeing/attempting to elude, DUI, refusing a chemical test, aggravated reckless driving, and leaving an accident scene with injury.
He's being held at the Williams County Correctional Center on $500,000 bond.
