Bismarck, ND (KEYZ) Monday is a red letter day for the North Dakota highway patrol, scooping up one of the largest drug busts in it’s history on I -94 between Mandan and Bismarck. It started with a traffic stop for a minor violation, however the trooper was quickly overcome by the heavy odor of marijuana from the Dodge mini van.
The elderly driver, 71 year old Harold Miller of Sacramento admitted to the trooper he had marijuana in the car. A subsequent search uncovered 183 pounds of marijuana with an approximate street value of $700,000.
Miller was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
